OK, not really, but according to this website, it sure is miraculous. In fact, there doesn’t seem to be much that homeopathy can’t do…
According to these quacks, the this is what homeopathy can help:
ADD or ADHD, Allergies, Asperger Syndrome, Asthma, Autism, Bipolar, Candida & Other Yeast Problems, Children’s Behavioral Problems, Chronic Fatigue, Depression, Digestive Problems, Dyslexia & Learning Disabilities, Ear Infections, Fears or Anxieties, Fibromyalgia, Grief, Headaches and Migraines, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or Colitis, Infertility, Insomnia, Menstrual Problems, Mood Swings, Multiple Sclerosis, PMS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, TMJ Problems
And lots more…
I wonder if “lots more” includes America’s biggest killers: heart disease and cancer. Oh, wait…there’s a homeopath for everything, even cancer.
We can touch on that later–harshly. For now, let’s focus on multiple sclerosis (MS). MS is a horrible disease. There are mild cases, but in many, it relapses frequently, with episodes of blindness, weakness, inability to walk…any myelinated bits of the nervous system can be affected. Thankfully, many new, effective treatments have been developed over the last few years. Homeopathy isn’t one of them. Or is it?
From the above-mentioned website:
A diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis can seem like a death sentence. Knowing that what is ahead of you is a life of diminishing capabilities. Since we are in Denver, which is a MS hot spot (much greater levels of MS) we have seen many patients who have been diagnosed with MS. We have been able to help many of these people maintain a good life, stopping the downturn and in many cases reducing the symptoms they came with.
The best way to explain what can happen is the following in the patients own words. My experience with Classical Homeopathy has been life or death, literally. Death was being totally paralyzed in a wheel chair with MS, and Life is physically healthy.
At age 35, I was very ill with Multiple Sclerosis for two years. I could barely walk, had to sleep 50% of every day and mentally my brain couldn’t focus- I couldn’t even read books. I was considering getting a wheelchair. While having a chair would have been very helpful, I knew if I didn’t it would be downhill from there for me, resulting in eventual paralysis of my body. Life looked like being alone in an institution, not being able to care for myself. Who wants that from life? Not me!
In deciding to heal myself from MS, I had to change my entire life. Classical Homeopathy was and is a big factor. Five years later I have none of those symptoms. I consider this a miracle! I only know people who continually get worse from the symptoms I had, not better!
Now, I look forward to Homeopathy helping me heal symptoms of allergies and scoliosis. And of course, any other imbalance I have.
Steve and Aviva and incredible!!!!!!!

Age 41In this example you see the difference between homeopathy and other approaches for treatment of multiple sclerosis. After the right remedy we expect to see everything getting better in the person’s life.

There are so many things wrong with this entry, it’s hard to know where to start–so we might as well start at the beginning. Denver is not a “hot spot” for MS. In general, northern latitudes see a higher incidence. This is simply attempting to claim a false mantle of authority.
Next they resort to the usual “quack” level of evidence–the testimonial. As has been addressed many times on this site, testimonials, while interesting, are not useful evidence.
And this claim is really the tops: “After the right remedy we expect to see everything getting better in the person’s life.” It’s not really about MS or any specific disease. It’s about the claims of homeopaths to be able to make people feel better, no matter their condition.
Homeopathy is pure quackery, and leading people away from real treatment is dangerous quackery.
They should be ashamed.
But of course, they have no shame.
